Removed 12" of surface soil and two inches of loose gravel, added 12" topsoil for the landscape. The area for the sidewalk remiain as the "before" pic indicates and poured a 5" aggregate concrete sidewalk with aluminum expansions joints, rebar, 6" crushed stone. The project took 2 months.
