This project required preparation and timing as the staircase to be replaced was located at a commercial apartment complex and, as it was winter, we had limited daylight. The residents were notified to leave the premises for 8 hours. The old steel staircase had to be separated from the building and removed and a new staircase had to be erected and functional by 5pm.

At Allpro Landscape Design we use only quality kiln dried wood deck materials so painting or sealing becomes less labor intensive and our customers have a great finished product.

Old Decking Replaced

About the Images

In this project the old decking was removed, new lumber was installed and necessary repairs performed where needed. Leveling the old frame was necessary. The new wood decking was installed using decking screws. Once the new decking was complete, the wood was stained with the customer's chosen stain. The vinyl trim was then installed and the banister was sanded and painted.
